The Revolution Hotel
40 Berkeley Street
About The Revolution Hotel
Twelve floors above Boston's South End, The Revolution Hotel occupies the former Boston Police Department headquarters on Berkeley Street — a 1925 Collegiate Gothic building whose terracotta detailing and arched windows survive intact behind the lobby's repurposed lockers and precinct signage.
Rooms run compact but purposeful, with air conditioning, in-room safes, and daily housekeeping. A coffee house and bar serve the ground floor, and bicycle rentals give guests direct access to the Southwest Corridor Park trail two blocks west. The fitness center occupies the old holding area.
Back Bay and the South End's restaurant row along Tremont Street sit within a ten-minute walk. Check-in opens at 16:00; the hotel runs a 24-hour front desk for late arrivals.
