Twelve-metre ceilings in the original state rooms now frame COMO The Treasury's lobby inside Perth's 1874 Old Treasury Building on Cathedral Avenue, a Renaissance Revival sandstone block beside St George's Cathedral.

Forty-eight rooms and suites retain the building's period window proportions; the COMO Shambhala wellness approach extends to in-room bath rituals and a dedicated spa floor. Long Chim, David Thompson's Thai street-food restaurant, occupies the former public halls at ground level.

Elizabeth Quay sits a ten-minute walk downhill; the Art Gallery of Western Australia is four minutes east. The Perth Cultural Centre free transit zone covers this end of the CBD strip entirely.
