Eight reviews short of 150, AURA Cottages already holds a 9.6 rating — unusually high even for Kazbegi, a Georgian mountain town where most accommodation competes directly on views of the Gergeti Trinity Church and Mount Kazbek's 5,047-metre summit.

The cottage structure separates guests into individual units rather than shared corridors, a practical fit for Stepantsminda where smaller guesthouses can feel cramped during the July and August peak. Views toward the 14th-century church on its promontory are visible from the upper portions of the grounds.

Kazbegi lies on the Georgian Military Highway, roughly 150 kilometres and three hours by road from Tbilisi. The Gergeti trailhead begins at the village edge; most walkers reach the church in under two hours.
