Kirani Resort

Sixteen rooms spread across a dammuso estate in Pantelleria's volcanic Dakale locality, Kirani Resort occupies a cluster of the island's traditional lava-stone dwellings with domed roofs and metre-thick walls that keep interiors cool without mechanical cooling in mild seasons.

An outdoor pool anchors the garden terrace, and most rooms carry sea views toward the Strait of Sicily. The bar serves Pantellerian Zibibbo passito, the island's prized dessert wine, alongside evening aperitivo. Airport shuttle and car rental are available on-site — both are practical here, as Dakale sits several kilometres from Pantelleria town and the island has no public bus network worth relying on.

Pantelleria is a 50-minute flight from Palermo, closer to Tunisia than to Sicily, and the island's Specchio di Venere thermal lake lies roughly ten minutes by car from the estate.
