Five yurts on a quiet residential lane off улица Масалиева in Karakol, this family-run camp sits roughly 1.5 km from the town centre and the Saturday animal market that draws herders from the Issyk-Kul valley each weekend.

Each yurt features underfloor heating — uncommon in traditional felt structures — keeping the interior warm even when overnight temperatures drop sharply in the Tian Shan foothills. Handwoven shyrdak felt rugs cover the sleeping platform, and the central tunduk skyhole remains openable for stargazing.

Karakol serves as the eastern gateway to Issyk-Kul and the trailhead town for Ala Kul lake treks. Marshrutkas to the lakeside resorts depart from the central bazaar, a ten-minute walk from the property.
