Elegant Mist Villa

Forty-eight kilometres from Kandy along the A5 mountain road, Elegant Mist Villa occupies a hillside plot in Lindula, a tea-estate village just outside Nuwara Eliya's colonial core. The surrounding Rathnagiriya slopes sit inside active Pedro and Lover's Leap tea country — guests can walk field rows at dawn before the first flush picking begins.

The villa's elevation keeps temperatures between 12°C and 18°C year-round, making air conditioning unnecessary. Rooms face the misty valley rather than the road, and the garden terrace draws low cloud most mornings.

Nuwara Eliya town centre is a fifteen-minute drive, with Gregory Lake and the Hill Club a short ride beyond. The nearest train halt at Nanu Oya connects to Ella in under three hours along one of Sri Lanka's most scenic rail corridors.
