HADCO Experiences at Asa Wright Nature Centre

Twelve lodge rooms occupy a restored 1908 colonial estate deep in Trinidad's Arima Valley, where the Northern Range rainforest begins at the veranda rail. Asa Wright records over 400 bird species on its 200-acre grounds — oilbirds nest in a limestone cave reached by guided trail.

Rates include full board served communal-style in the estate dining room; early-morning walks with resident naturalists are built into the programme. The veranda bar doubles as a prime observation deck for hummingbirds, trogons, and bearded bellbirds without leaving the chair.

The centre sits at 1,200 feet elevation along Blanchisseuse Road, 12km north of Arima and noticeably cooler than Port of Spain, 40km to the west.
