Invisible House Desert Icon w Indoor Pool

An all-mirrored glass house on Uphill Road at the edge of the high Mojave, the Invisible House uses floor-to-ceiling reflective panels to dissolve its walls into the surrounding desert — the structure reads differently at dawn, midday, and dusk as light and shadow shift across the facade.

The indoor pool runs the full length of the main living hall, heated year-round against temperature swings that can exceed 40°F between noon and midnight. Polished concrete floors and minimal furnishings keep the interior subservient to the desert panorama outside.

Joshua Tree National Park's north entrance sits roughly eight miles south; Pioneertown and Pappy & Harriet's honky-tonk are fifteen minutes northwest. The property books as a private whole-home rental sleeping up to twelve guests.
