Hidden behind a modest Fremont Street facade, Hotel Apache occupies a 1932 building that once housed Las Vegas's first high-rise casino, three blocks east of the Fremont Street Experience canopy. The three-star property keeps its original terrazzo lobby floor while rooms above have been fully modernized.

Ground-floor arcade space now holds a coffee bar rather than slot machines, a deliberate break from neighboring casino-hotels.
