Converted from a 1927 Spanish Colonial landmark on Hollywood Boulevard, The Hollywood Roosevelt still holds the ballroom that hosted the first Academy Awards, its lobby arches and hand-painted beams original to the David Hockney-adjacent Tropicana pool deck.
