Twelve floors of Art Deco stucco define The Marlin Hotel at 1200 Collins Avenue, set on Miami Beach's historic strip between Ocean Drive's promenade and the Collins Avenue shopping corridor, a five-minute walk from the sand.

Rooms keep terrazzo floors and porthole-style windows original to the building's 1939 construction, a detail few Deco-district hotels preserve. The rooftop bar overlooks the Atlantic rather than the street, drawing a quieter crowd than the ground-floor scene.
