Built from six historic Warehouse District buildings joined behind their original 1880s facades, The Eliza Jane keeps exposed brick, cast-iron columns and heart-pine beams from a former newspaper press and stove works. Magazine Street places guests three blocks from the Mississippi riverfront and a ten-minute walk from the French Quarter, a practical base for travelers wanting quiet nights near the noise.

Rooms vary in shape and ceiling height, a byproduct of the merged buildings, so no two floorplans match exactly. Rum and Rye, the lobby bar, keeps a whiskey list built around Prohibition-era cocktails.
