Drury Plaza Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk

Three blocks from the Alamo and directly above the River Walk, the Drury Plaza occupies a restored 1929 Alamo National Bank building — the original banking hall's arched ceilings and terrazzo floors visible in the lobby.

Drury's "5:30 Kickback" is the practical differentiator: a nightly hot food and drinks event included in the rate, replacing a bar tab for most guests. Rooms carry microwaves and refrigerators as standard, and the outdoor pool deck overlooks the river bend below St Mary's Street.

The hotel's position at 105 South St Mary's puts the Convention Center four minutes on foot and the Pearl District a ten-minute streetcar ride north. Check-out runs to midnight — unusually late and useful for evening flights out of San Antonio International.
