335 Wood Road
About The Victorian Manor
Twenty rooms of colonial-era stonework on Wood Road, The Victorian Manor places guests within earshot of the Zambezi's roar — the falls are roughly 1.5 kilometres on foot through the rainforest path that locals call the Soaking Walk.
The manor keeps period pressed-tin ceilings and wide wraparound verandahs intact; ceiling fans replace air conditioning in the older wing. Early-morning guided walks to the eastern cataract viewpoint depart from the front gate before tourist crowds arrive.
Victoria Falls town centre, with its curio markets and safari booking desks, is a ten-minute walk north along Wood Road. The border crossing into Zambia's Livingstone is accessible by taxi in under twenty minutes.
