Brumas Patagónicas

Slotted into a quiet street named for the aviator-writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Brumas Patagónicas sits at the northern edge of El Chaltén, the small village that serves as base camp for Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre trekkers in Los Glaciares National Park.

El Chaltén itself is Argentina's youngest official town, founded in 1985 partly to assert territorial presence, and Brumas Patagónicas takes its name — Patagonian mists — from the low cloud that rolls through the valley each afternoon from the Southern Ice Field.

The village trailheads begin within walking distance; no transfers or park entrance fees are required for day hikes. With only one review recorded, the property remains largely undiscovered by the aggregator circuit.
