Five guest rooms fill this working farmhouse on Radlingstrasse, a ten-minute walk above Hallstatt's lakeside center and clear of the daytime crowds circling the market square. The König family still keeps goats and chickens in the adjoining barn, visible from the breakfast room windows.

Breakfast uses the farm's own eggs and preserves, served at a single long table rather than individual seatings. Rooms keep pine paneling and wool blankets; none has air conditioning, useful to know for August stays.

A gravel path drops directly to the Hallstättersee shoreline and the boat dock serving the train station across the lake.
