Place St Barthélemy 5
About B&B N°5
Built on Place Saint-Barthélemy, one of Liège's quietest medieval squares, B&B N°5 occupies a townhouse directly beside the Collegiate Church of Saint-Barthélemy — home to the 12th-century brass font considered Belgium's finest Romanesque metalwork.
Five rooms keep the building's original timber floors and high ceilings; the square-facing windows deliver church-tower views without road noise. Breakfast is served in the ground-floor salon at a communal table, drawing on local Herve cheese and Liège waffles rather than a generic buffet spread.
The Féronstrée antique corridor and the Saturday Batte market along the Meuse riverbank both fall within a ten-minute walk. Liège-Guillemins station, designed by Santiago Calatrava, is reachable in fifteen minutes on foot.
