Fourteen rooms in a traditional Naxi courtyard compound on Dongkang Street, One Zen Lodge Snowy Haven sits within Shuhe Ancient Town, one of Lijiang's quieter heritage districts — less trafficked than Dayan's main lanes but sharing the same UNESCO-listed canal network and cobbled streets.

The lodge takes its name from the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain visible from the upper courtyard, where timber eaves frame the snow cap at dawn. Rooms follow Naxi architectural conventions: low wooden furniture, lattice windows, and stone flooring that stays cool through summer afternoons.

Shuhe's morning market on the main square runs until 09:00 and draws local vendors rather than tourist stalls. The old town's east gate is a ten-minute walk; Lijiang's main Dayan district is reachable in fifteen minutes by taxi.
