Yangshuo The Apsara Lodge

Built among the karst peaks of Gaotian Town, The Apsara Lodge occupies a converted village compound roughly eight kilometres south of Yangshuo's main strip, where the Li River plain opens into rice paddies framed by limestone spires.

The lodge runs on a deliberately small scale — fewer than fifteen rooms ensure a quiet rhythm absent from the busier West Street guesthouses. Each unit faces outward toward the fields rather than inward to a courtyard, so the peak silhouette is present from every window at dawn.

Gaotian Town connects to Yangshuo by a twenty-minute taxi or bicycle path along the river road. The surrounding countryside is better suited to cycling and bamboo rafting than to organised touring, and the lodge can arrange both without routing guests through the town centre crowds.
