Penzion Na Louži

Six rooms inside a 16th-century burgher's house on Kájovská street, Penzion Na Louži sits 200 metres from Český Krumlov's castle gates in the Unesco-protected old town core. The building retains its original vaulted ground-floor ceilings and painted timber beams.

The property is small enough that check-in is handled personally; guests report staff will arrange private castle tours and river rafting on the Vltava directly from the front desk. No lift exists, and upper-floor rooms require a narrow staircase.

Kájovská runs parallel to the inner bend of the Vltava, placing the pension within a four-minute walk of the castle gardens and the baroque theatre — one of Europe's best-preserved — still used for summer performances.
