Tucked into the roofline of Hundertwasser's Grüne Zitadelle on Breiter Weg, the Castelletto occupies a singular apartment-style suite crowning Magdeburg's most recognizable postmodern building — a pink-and-gold structure the artist completed just before his death in 2000.

The position places guests above the building's rooftop terraces and planted corridors, with curved walls, irregular windows, and ceramic tile detailing that extend Hundertwasser's interior philosophy into the sleeping space. No two sight lines from the windows repeat.
