Spirit Of The Sea

Opposite the open Arabian Sea on Varkala's laterite cliff edge, Spirit of the Sea positions guests directly above the surf line — the terrace and balconies look straight down to Papanasam Beach rather than across a road or rooftop.

Rooms feature tile and marble floors, private bathrooms with shower, electric kettle, and a sitting area; family rooms are available for larger groups. Upper floors are stairs-only, so sea-view rooms carry a mild climb. An outdoor dining area with garden furniture serves as the main gathering spot, particularly at dusk when the cliff catches the last westward light.

Varkala cliff's main strip of cafés and Ayurvedic parlours runs within two minutes on foot. Airport shuttle service connects to Trivandrum International, roughly 50 km south.
