Kurni's Cabin

The wood-frame cabin retreat on Jalan Raya Sapit sits on Lombok's eastern slopes, where the road climbs toward Mount Rinjani through the Sapit highlands — a two-hour drive from Senggigi's beaches and a base built for hikers and travellers seeking cool mountain air over coastal heat.

Each room opens onto a private balcony facing terraced gardens and Rinjani's ridgeline, fan-cooled rather than air-conditioned since the elevation keeps nights cold. A shared dining terrace serves meals with the same volcano view.

Sapit village itself moves slowly, with clove and coffee smallholdings surrounding the property and little passing traffic after dark.
