Hotel Palazzo Vittoria Heritage Collection

Eight rooms occupy a heritage palazzo on Piazza Risorgimento in Anguillara Sabazia, a medieval lakeside borgo perched above Lake Bracciano some 35 kilometres northwest of Rome. The building's stone façade and loggia face the central square where the old town steps down toward the water.

Lake Bracciano — a volcanic crater lake and protected natural reserve — lies within a short walk downhill; swimming, sailing, and kayak rental operate from the promenade below the borgo walls. The lake supplied Rome's aqueduct for centuries and retains unusually clean water by Italian standards.

The Rome-Viterbo regional rail line stops at Anguillara station, putting Trastevere roughly 50 minutes away without a car. The surrounding Sabatini hills offer cycling routes through chestnut woodland with minimal motor traffic.
