Beneath the terraced lanes that climb from Varenna's ferry dock, Casa Concordia occupies the second floor of a stone building on Via Taceno, a short walk from the train station that links Como and Lecco along the eastern lake shore.

Varenna's car-free waterfront promenade and the Villa Monastero gardens sit within ten minutes on foot. The Varenna-Esino station, a rare lakeside stop served by direct trains from Milan's Centrale, is closer still.
