Laforet Hakone Gora Yunosumika

Near the upper terminus of the Hakone Tozan cablecar in Gora, Laforet Hakone Gora Yunosumika operates as a traditional ryokan at the edge of the volcanic highland, with Owakudani's sulphur vents visible on clear days from the upper grounds.

Hot spring baths are the core draw: both indoor and open-air onsen draw from Gora's sodium-chloride source, and the public bath rotates access by gender through the evening. Guest rooms follow ryokan convention with tatami floors and futon bedding; the on-site restaurant serves kaiseki-style meals with Hakone mountain produce.

Gora station — the transfer point for the Hakone Ropeway — sits roughly five minutes on foot. Fishing and hiking trails into the Kintoki ridge are accessible without a vehicle.
