La Vista Daisetsuzan

Twelve rooms at Asahidake Onsen, La Vista Daisetsuzan occupies the foot of Mount Asahidake — Hokkaido's highest peak — where natural hot spring water feeds both an open-air rotemburo and an indoor public bath overlooking the surrounding forest.

The onsen facilities are the primary draw: guests rotate between the outdoor bath and sauna as seasons shift from autumn foliage to deep winter snow. A restaurant on site works with Hokkaido produce, and an on-site convenience store covers late-night needs without leaving the building.

Higashikawa town lies roughly 30 kilometres south, but most guests arrive for the Asahidake ropeway trailhead, reachable on foot from the entrance. Ski storage is provided through winter; summer opens the alpine hiking network directly from the property.
