Kiboko Nyumba

Tucked along Turtle Bay Road in Watamu, Kiboko Nyumba sits within reach of one of Kenya's most protected stretches of Indian Ocean coastline — the Watamu Marine National Park reef begins roughly 500 metres offshore.

The property's name translates from Swahili as "hippo house," a nod to the region's coastal wetlands rather than the beach itself. Turtle Bay is a short walk north, where loggerhead and green turtles nest between October and March.
