Inside the northeastern tip of Rodrigues Island, Izava Lodge occupies a quiet plot above Pointe Coton, one of the island's most sheltered lagoon beaches, reachable on foot in minutes. The property sits well clear of the main Rodrigues town of Port Mathurin, 18 kilometres west, placing guests in genuine rural quiet.

Units are self-catering in full: each comes with a kitchenette, oven, toaster, washing machine, and dining area — practical for extended stays. Balconies and terraces face the surrounding garden, and the elevated position gives open views toward the reef line.

Rodrigues operates at a slower pace than mainland Mauritius, and Pointe Coton reflects that. The lagoon here is calm enough for snorkelling directly from the beach, and local fishermen launch from the same shore each morning.
