Dakhla South Bay

Beyond the main road into Dakhla, four kilometres south along Route El Argoub, South Bay sits directly on the lagoon shoreline that makes this Saharan peninsula one of Africa's premier windsurfing destinations. The private beach faces the flat, turquoise water that draws international kitesurf and windsurf competitors each autumn.

Water sports are the property's centre of gravity: windsurfing, diving, snorkelling, and fishing all run on-site, while a spa with steam room and Turkish bath handles recovery. The restaurant serves themed dinners alongside a bar with happy hour, and a coffee house operates separately from the main dining room.

Dakhla town lies roughly four kilometres north; the hotel runs an airport shuttle for arrivals. Yoga classes, archery, and horseback riding fill non-water days.
