Fourteen rooms occupy Atlantic Hostel on Rue El Abbana, tucked inside Essaouira's walled medina a five-minute walk from the fishing port and Skala ramparts — a straightforward base for windsurfers and backpackers rather than couples wanting quiet.

A rooftop terrace doubles as the evening gathering point, with live music and happy hour service most nights; a shared kitchen and communal lounge cover longer stays. Bike and board rentals are arranged directly at the tour desk, alongside horseback and fishing trips along the coast.

The medina's narrow alleys mean no car access to the door; the shuttle service handles airport and beach transfers instead.
