Lined with cedarwood beams and hand-painted zellige, Dar Cherazade & Spa occupies a riad on Rue Touahen inside Essaouira's walled medina, three minutes on foot from the Skala ramparts and fish port. Narrow lanes keep vehicles out, so bags travel the last stretch by handcart — a fit for couples and small groups wanting the medina's quiet rather than the busy Place Moulage.

The hammam and treatment room sit below street level, built around the original cistern; treatments use argan oil sourced from a women's cooperative outside town. A rooftop terrace overlooks the medina's flat roofs toward the Atlantic, where breakfast shifts outdoors whenever the trade wind drops.
