Dar Janarose

Beside the ramparts of Essaouira's medina, Dar Janarose occupies a restored riad on Rue Abo El Mahajer, a narrow lane two minutes from Bab Sbaa and the fishing port. The layout suits couples and small groups wanting walkable access to the souks without traffic noise reaching the rooms.

A central courtyard opens rooms to a shared skylight rather than street windows, keeping interiors cool through summer. Breakfast is taken on the rooftop terrace, facing the Atlantic ramparts and the gulls working the harbour below.

Mogador's beach lies a ten-minute walk south, past the Skala gun batteries.
