Riad Abjaou

An early-1900s riad rebuilt around a tiled courtyard in Berrima, on Marrakech's southern edge just inside the kasbah walls near the Saadian Tombs. Rooms open onto the central patio rather than a corridor, keeping traffic noise from the surrounding derb out entirely.

A rooftop terrace overlooks the Kasbah Mosque minaret, and staff will arrange a plunge-pool cooling session during peak summer afternoons. Berrima sits apart from the Jemaa el-Fnaa crowds, a fifteen-minute walk south, making this a quieter base for travellers who still want walkable access to the medina.
