Riad Adriana

Folded into the Bab Doukkala quarter's tangle of derbs, Riad Adriana occupies a restored courtyard house at 99 Derb Jdid, a five-minute walk from the medina's northern gate and roughly fifteen minutes on foot to Jemaa el-Fna, a quiet base for travellers wanting the medina without the souk crowds pressing outside the door.

Rooms open onto a tiled central patio rather than a corridor, with a plunge pool cooling the courtyard through summer afternoons. Breakfast is taken rooftop, above the neighbourhood's satellite dishes and minaret line.

Bab Doukkala's local souk, smaller and less touristed than the main medina market, sits two streets over.
