Riad Arabkech

Eight rooms wrapped around a central courtyard in Marrakech's Assouel quarter of the medina, Riad Arabkech follows the traditional inward-facing plan — plain derb facade, then light and carved stucco within. The indoor pool sits at courtyard level, shaded through most of the day by the surrounding gallery.

The kitchen runs themed dinners alongside standard room service, and cooking classes draw on the same Moroccan pantry — preserved lemons, ras el hanout, slow-braised lamb. Breakfast can be packed to-go for early excursions; the tour desk arranges bike rentals and culture-focused guided walks into the souks.

Derb Taht el Khouchba is a narrow residential lane roughly ten minutes on foot from Djemaa el-Fna square, deep enough into the medina that street noise drops off sharply after dark.
