Riad Aya

Eight rooms wrap a central courtyard at Riad Aya, tucked down Derb Toudgha near Bab Doukala on the medina's northwestern edge — a quieter approach than the routes through Jemaa el-Fna, roughly fifteen minutes' walk east. The tiled patio and plunge pool sit below open sky, with a rooftop terrace for evening tea once the courtyard cools.

Each room keeps handmade zellige tile and tadelakt plaster finishes rather than a uniform decor scheme. Bab Doukala's souks and the Doukala mosque are a short walk out the alley, suiting travellers who prefer a residential-feeling base over the busier central lanes.
