Tucked down Derb El Khier, a narrow cul-de-sac in the Medina's northern quarter, Riad Ciel d'Orient sits behind an unmarked wooden door typical of the neighborhood — guests are guided in by phone on arrival since taxis cannot enter the alley. The Jemaa el-Fnaa square lies roughly ten minutes on foot, close enough for evening visits without the noise reaching the riad's courtyard.

Rooms open onto a central patio with a plunge pool and citrus trees; a rooftop terrace above catches sunset over the Koutoubia minaret. Staff arrange private hammam sessions in-house rather than sending guests to outside spas, and breakfast is set by request rather than fixed hours.
