Riad De La Semaine

The riad tucked in Derb Zaari, a narrow alley off Kenaria in the northern medina, keeps its 19th-century courtyard house layout intact — tiled fountain, citrus tree, and a rooftop terrace stacked above three floors of rooms. The souks around Bab Doukkala lie within a ten-minute walk, closer than the tourist-heavy routes near Jemaa el-Fnaa.

Rooms wrap the central courtyard so most windows face inward, not the street, keeping noise low despite the medina's density. Staff will arrange a private guide through the alley maze on arrival, useful since taxis cannot reach the door.

Breakfast is served on the terrace, weather permitting, with views over neighboring rooftops rather than the square itself.
