Forty paces off Rue Riad Zitoune Kedim, Riad Jnane Mogador hides behind an unmarked wooden door typical of the medina's souk-adjacent lanes, opening onto a tiled courtyard with a central plunge pool and citrus trees shading the breakfast tables.

Rooms wrap the courtyard on two levels, each with hand-carved plaster niches and a separate salon area rather than a single bed-and-bath box. Staff will walk first-time guests back from Jemaa el-Fnaa after dark — the alley layout confuses GPS.

The square itself is an eight-minute walk; taxis cannot enter this stretch of the medina, so luggage transfer is by handcart.
