Riad les palmiers de la medina

Sixteen turns through the Derb Sidi Bou Amar alleyways lead to Riad les Palmiers de la Medina, a restored courtyard house behind an unmarked wooden door typical of the old medina's defensive layout. A rooftop terrace overlooks the palm crowns that give the riad its name.

Rooms open onto the central patio rather than a corridor, keeping traffic noise out entirely. Staff will walk arriving guests in from the nearest passable street, since taxis cannot enter the alley.

Jemaa el-Fnaa square lies roughly ten minutes on foot, close enough for late food-stall visits, far enough to sleep in real quiet.
