Twenty-four rooms of clay-tadelakt walls surround a single citrus-shaded courtyard at Riad Touda, tucked down Derb el Arsa in the Kennaria quarter of Marrakech's medina, a five-minute walk from Place des Épices — a quiet base for travellers who want the souks close but not underfoot.

A rooftop terrace catches sunset over the medina's satellite dishes and minarets, with mint tea served there each evening. Staff will guide first-time guests through the derb's unmarked turns to the entrance, since GPS alone rarely finds it.
