Riad Sidi Fatah

The restored courtyard riad on Rue Benacer Lakrari sits inside Rabat's Kasbah des Oudayas quarter, its cedar-latticed windows and tiled fountain shielded from street noise by thick medina walls. A ten-minute walk reaches the Oudayas gardens and the Bou Regreg estuary, making it a quiet base for travellers preferring the old city to the newer Agdal district.

Rooms open onto the covered patio rather than corridors, and breakfast is taken there under the citrus tree. Staff arrange fixed-price taxis to Rabat-Ville station, useful since the riad's alley is inaccessible by car.
