Tarmigt is a small Berber settlement in the Souss-Massa region of southern Morocco, situated in the Anti-Atlas mountain range. The nearest significant town is Tiznit, roughly 60–80 km to the west depending on the route taken. Agadir's international airport is the practical entry point for most travelers, located approximately 150 km northwest. Road access into the Anti-Atlas interior requires a 4×4 or sturdy vehicle on piste tracks beyond the main tarmac roads.
