New Annapurna Guest House

Twelve rooms in a family-run guest house on Pokhara's Lakeside strip, New Annapurna sits close enough to Phewa Lake that Annapurna South is visible at dawn from the upper-floor terrace when clouds permit.

Rooms are simply furnished with tiled floors and ceiling fans; front-facing ones catch morning light over the water while rear rooms stay cooler through afternoon heat. A roof terrace serves as the informal common space, well used by trekkers comparing Annapurna Circuit notes after long days.

The Lakeside bazaar — Pokhara's main strip of trekking outfitters, cafes, and currency changers — runs directly outside. Buses to the Nayapul trailhead for the Annapurna Sanctuary approach depart from Baglung bus park, about twenty minutes on foot.
