Sokak Heritage Apartments

Beneath the Ottoman-era facades of Širok Sokak, Bitola's celebrated pedestrian boulevard, Sokak Heritage Apartments occupies a restored 19th-century townhouse at number 54 — steps from the clock tower that marks the street's northern anchor.

Four apartments retain original timber ceilings and stone walls; each unit has a separate kitchen and living area rather than a hotel-style single room. The building's age shows in the staircase detail, preserved rather than modernised.

Širok Sokak functions as the city's social spine: the evening korzo walk passes the front door, and the Roman ruins of Heraclea Lyncestis lie two kilometres south. The Manaki Brothers Film Festival venues fall within a short walk each autumn.
