Shoposki Guest House

Twelve rooms make up Shoposki Guest House in the lakeside village of Elshani, on Lake Ohrid's quieter southwestern shore away from the historic centre's summer crowds. Balconies face the water directly, with Galicica National Park rising behind the village lanes — a fit for travellers wanting a slow, walkable base rather than nightlife.

The family running the property tends its own garden, supplying tomatoes and peppers for evening meals grilled lakeside. Ohrid town's old quarter and the Church of St. John at Kaneo sit roughly a twenty-minute drive north along the shore road, reachable also by local bus from the village square.
