Casa Kvaløya

Built on the island of Kvaløya, roughly 20 kilometres west of Tromsø city centre, Casa Kvaløya is a ground-floor private unit with its own entrance, positioned where winter skies regularly produce northern lights without city-light interference.

The apartment runs as a self-contained stay: refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, and tea and coffee equipment allow guests to cook and eat in. A private bathroom with shower and bathtub, an iron, drying rack, and wardrobe cover the practical side of a longer Arctic visit.

Kvaløya sits on the edge of fjord terrain that connects directly to snowshoe and ski trails in winter and midnight-sun hiking in summer. Tromsø's Storgata restaurants and the Arctic Cathedral are a short drive east across the Sandnessund Bridge.
