Casas Fonte da Tapada - Casa da Mina

Behind the medieval granite walls of Trancoso's historic centre, Casa da Mina forms part of the Casas Fonte da Tapada estate on Avenida Dr. Álvaro de Carvalho. The name nods to an on-site water source — fonte da tapada translates as spring of the enclosed estate — lending the property a rural atmosphere unusual for an in-town address.
