Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island

Beside the Indian Ocean reef shelf that rings Desroches, a remote atoll 230km southwest of Mahé, the Four Seasons occupies the full width of the island — guests reach it only by charter flight, making the resort genuinely self-contained.

Villas sit directly on the sand or above the lagoon, each with a private pool and outdoor bathtub. Water sports run from the dive centre, covering the Desroches Drop — a wall dive that descends past 30 metres along the atoll's southern edge. The spa adds Seychellois coconut-oil body treatments alongside standard massage menus.

The island has no public roads or other properties; dining, guided fishing, cycling the 8km perimeter track, and evening themed dinners are organised entirely within the resort.
